HONOLULU – The University of Hawai`i women's soccer team wrapped up its 2017 spring season with a 2-2 draw against the FC Hawai`i U16 boys at Lower Campus Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Tia Furuta put the Rainbow Wahine on the board first when she finished a through ball up the middle in the eighth minute.
FC Hawai`i goals in the 11th and 25th minutes, however, put the Rainbow Wahine in a 2-1 hole late in the first half.
Sarah Lau scored the equalizer for UH in the 33rd minute when she re-directed a corner kick into the back of the net.
Alexis Mata turned in a clean 45 minutes in net in the second half for the 'Bows to conserve the 2-2 draw.
