SEATTLE – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine cross country team concluded the 2017 season
on Friday at Jefferson Park Golf Course, wrapping up with the NCAA West Regional Championships.

Sienna Santiago led the Rainbow Wahine for the fourth meet on the year, finishing 214th in a 6k time of 23:37.4. Next up for UH, Eugene, Ore. junior
Danielle Girard finished 221st in 23:53.2 in only her second DI 6k race.

Giovanna Casazza followed in 234th in 24:45.3, ahead of sophomore
Alison Bowman at a career-best 24:50.8 in 236th and junior
Kai Hoshijo in 240th and 25:19.0.
The Rainbow Wahine finished 36th as a team with a combined score of 1126 points and an average time of 24:30.
With the conclusion of the cross country season, the Rainbow Wahine now turn their attention to the Indoor track season, which opens on
Jan. 14th back in Seattle at the UW Indoor Open.
