Complete ResultsIRVINE, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine track and field team not only wrapped up competition at the 22nd annual adidas/Steve Scott Invitational at Anteater Stadium on Saturday, but also the 2016 outdoor regular season. The 'Bows closed out the final tune-up heading into Big West with some new personal records as well as an additional qualification.

LeAnna Morrison highlighted the UH performances, making her first competition since an injury took her out of action during the first meet of the indoor season. Morrison earned a Big West qualifying mark in the triple jump, making a third-place leap of 38-06.25 (11.74m).
Meanwhile, Chino Hills, Calif. senior
Robyn Brown sliced her 400m hurdles time by 1.2 seconds to finish fourth in the event with a time of 1:01.08, not only improving her Big West seeding, but also moving up to fourth on the all-time UH list for the event.
In the distance events, Tualatin, Ore. junior
Alli Cross picked up a fifth-place finish in the 5,000m, logging a personal best time of 17:35.51, while Bakersfield, Calif. freshman
Camille Campos was 10th in a personal-best time of 18:15.45.
The throwers were out in full force, as the Rainbow Wahine garnered a 3-4-5 finish in the shot put from St.-Cesaire, Canada senior
Alex Porlier Langlois (49-7.25/15.12m), Burlingame, Calif. junior
Sabrina Mendoza (45-02.50/13.78m) and Kapolei, O'ahu senior
Charlinda Ioane (44-11.50/13.70m), respectively. In the process, Mendoza improved on her personal best by .03m. Kapoloei O'ahu freshman
Mary Kamau was ninth in the event at
40-8.25 (12.40m).
Porlier Langlois was also eighth in the discus (162-7/49.55m) and ninth in the hammer (171-03/52.19m), while Ioane was ninth with a season best in the discus at 161-08 (49.29m).
Olympia, Wash. redshirt freshman
Karen Bulger came in at second in the javelin at 145-5 (44.33m), edging out Wai'anae, O'ahu junior
Felicianna Vazquez in third at 140-00 (42.68m). Cottage Grove, Ore. sophomore
Destiny Dawson was also fifth in the event at
133-5 (40.66m).
Always a strong finisher, the Big West leader in the pole vault, Veracruz, Mexico senior Tiziana Ruiz-Dominguez finished second overall and first among collegiate performers with a 13-5.75 (4.11m) vault, while Wailuku, Maui junior
Amber Kozaki was sixth.

Montana Martinez was seventh in the 3,000m steeplechase and Perth, Australia senior
Louise Mulvey missed another new personal best in the 800m by only .4 seconds, coming in ninth in 2:10.96.
The Rainbow Wahine return to Honolulu in preparation for the postseason, as the Big West Championships begin next week with the multi-events, May 6-7 in Long Beach, Calif. The lion's share of the events will be in competition May 13-14, also in Long Beach.
