Match NotesThe eighth-ranked University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team look to snap its five-match losing streak as it travels to No. 11 CSUN for a two-match Mountain Pacific Sports Federation series Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 at The Matadome in Northridge, Calif.
The Rainbow Warriors (10-9, 5-9 MPSF) just completed their toughest portion of the schedule which included two-match series versus then-No. 1 UCLA, No. 3 Stanford, top-ranked Long Beach State, and No. 2 BYU during a five-week stretch. UH has dropped eight of its past nine matches and currently sit in eighth place in the league standings heading into the final month of the season.
CSUN (12-7, 5-7) is seventh in the standings and is coming off a pair of wins including a four-set victory over then-No. 6 Penn State on the Nittany Lions' homecourt. The Matadors also swept Mount Union in a neutral site match at University Park, Pa.
The Warriors swept the season series over CSUN in 2014 and '15 after losing the series in 2012 and '13. Last season, UH won both matches in four sets at the Stan Sheriff Center while winning both matches in straight set in 2014 at The Matadome.
