HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (9-7, 3-2 Big West) heads to the West Coast for two road matches. The Rainbow Wahine will first take on Big West opponent, Long Beach State (10-4, 3-0 BWC) on Thursday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. The 'Bows will then head to Las Vegas, Nev. to take on No. 64 UNLV (17-0, 2-0 MWC) on Saturday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m.
The Rainbow Wahine are led by
Marina Hruba who has dominated her opponents with a 16-1 overall singles record. The freshman from Prague, Czech Republic, has won 14 of her matches in straight sets. She has played on courts 1, 2, 3 and 4, but her most success has come on the No. 2 court where she is a perfect 8-0 on the year. Fellow rookie
Roxanne Resma has also been on fire on the hardcourts, posting an 11-5 overall record and 10-3 mark in dual matches. She is 7-1 at No. 5 and 3-2 at No. 6 in the order.

Cindy Nguyen have recorded an 11-5 overall record in doubles. On the No. 2 court, the duo of Resman and Nguyen is 9-4 in dual matches thus far to lead UH.
Long Beach State is currently undefeated in conference play at 3-0 with an overall record of 10-4. The 49ers have won their last three straight matches and are led by No. 60 Maeva Razakoasoa who is 19-8 overall and 10-3 in dual matches all on the No. 1 court. Long Beach State also has a pair of 20-match winners already with Laura Eales and Julie Gerard. Eales has a 20-7 record while Gerard is at 20-6 overall. In doubles, the 49er duo of Eales and Hayley Thompson have joined forces for a 17-3 overall record and are 8-2 at No. 1. Gerard and Razakasoa are 13-8 overall and are 8-2 in dual matches at No. 2.
No. 64 UNLV will be the seventh ranked team UH has faced this season. The Rebels are a perfect 17-0 on the season and have already set a new school record with 17-straight wins in a season. UNLV has a pair of 20-match winners already with Paola Artiga coming into this week at 26-4 overall and a 17-0 mark in dual matches—16-0 on the No. 3 court. Aiwen Zhu is 20-6 overall and 13-1 in dual matches. She is 5-0 on the No. 1 court and 8-1 playing at No. 2
