Day One ResultsSEATTLE – The University of Hawai'I Rainbow Wahine track and field team completed the first day of competition at the Dempsey Indoor Facility on Friday in the first day of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Indoor Championships.
Ranking the highest of the UH finishers, Veracruz, Mexico senior
Tiziana Ruiz Dominguez broke her own pole vault record, clearing 13-01.75 (4.01m) to tie for fourth and put UH on the scoreboard. Wailuku, Maui junior
Amber Kozaki beat out her season best height, hitting 12-08.00 (3.86m) to tie for 13th.

Competing in the pentathlon, 'Ewa Beach, O'ahu sophomore
Sha'tres Ah Nee crested her personal best height in the event's high jump, reaching 5-04.25 (1.63m), a mark that ranks among the UH all-time top 10. She moved well ahead of her season best and last year's total score, recording 3,154 points to finish 15th in the pentathlon, ahead of Troutdale, Ore. junior
Courtney Andre', who finished 20th with 2,470 points.
The Rainbow Wahine return to action in the morning, starting day two of competition at MPSF at 10:30 a.m. PT (8:30 a.m. HT) beginning with the shot put.
