Box Score (pdf)LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team snapped its three-match losing streak with a five-set victory at USC, Monday, in the first of two Mountain Pacific Sports Federation matches at the Galen Center.
Set scores were 25-15, 22-25, 19-25, 25-19, 15-10.
The Rainbow Warriors (10-4, 5-4 MPSF) also defeated USC in Los Angeles for the first time since 2010, snapping a four-match losing streak. The teams play again on Tuesday in the rematch at the Galen Center.

Kupono Fey continued his hot streak, tying his career-high with 19 kills, hitting .361, one match after recording a then-season-high 17 kills in a four-set loss to Stanford. His 19

Sinisa Zarkovic added 15 kills and nine digs.

Kolby Kanetake recorded a season-high 17 digs while UH's middles –
Iain McKellar (9k, 4b) and
Hendrik Mol (7k, 8b) combined for 16 kills and 12 blocks. As a team, the Rainbow Warriors out-blocked the Trojans 14.5-to-11 and did not allow USC to record a service ace.
Alex Slaught led the Trojans (2-11, 2-9) with 11 kills.
After the Warriors won Set 4, 25-19, to extend the match to the limit, UH reeled off five straight points in the decisive set for an 11-6 lead. During the run, the Trojans committed four hitting errors capped by a McKellar-
Jennings Franciskovic double block. UH sided-out the rest of the way.
