Complete ResultsSEATTLE – The University of Hawai'i track and field team wrapped up two-day competition at the University of Washington Invitational on Saturday in the second of four regular-season meets in Seattle, turning in a big weekend highlighted by numerous top 10 program marks and four individual top tier finishes at the meet for the Rainbow Wahine.

UH began competition at the Dempsey Indoor track facility on Friday, as first-year Tualatin, Ore. junior
Alli Cross produced a time of 17:40.18 in the 5,000m to rank third on the UH all-time performances list and a 33rd-place finish.

The Rainbow Wahine tested the waters with their first relay performance of the season. The foursome of
Haley Beaumont (Fr., Lockport, Ill.,
Robyn Brown (Sr., Chino Hills, Calif.),
Tristan Setzer (Fr., Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada) and
Camille Campos (Fr., Bakersfield, Calif.) finished 12th with a combined time of 12:26.74, ranking seventh among the UH all-time top 10.

Kapolei, O'ahu senior
Charlinda Ioane got started on her big weekend on Friday with a 3.25-foot (99cm) improvement in the weight throw, leading the Rainbow Wahine with a 51-06.25 (15.70m) launch for 13th place and a personal best for the No. 8 spot in UH's records.

Making UH's first multi-events appearance of the season, 'Ewa Beach, O'ahu sophomore
Sha'tres Ah Nee set a personal-best mark of 2,943 points, courtesy of event PRs in the 60m hurdles (9.67), high jump (5-02.25 / 1.58m) and long jump (16-03.75 / 4.97m). Ah Nee missed notching her mark in the UH top 10 by only seven points, finishing 25th overall.

Another big pair of Hawai'i finishes came in the pole vault, where Veracruz, Mexico junior
Tiziana Ruiz Dominguez and Wailuku, Maui junior
Amber Kozaki tied for sixth and 10th in the pole vault, recording heights of 12-06.25 (3.82m) and 12-00.50 (3.67m), respectively.

The UH throwers struck again on Saturday in the shot put, paced by Saint-Cesaire, Quebec, Canada senior
Alex Porlier Langlois, who finished second overall with a heave of 51-05.00 (15.67m), while Ioane recorded another solid finish, coming in fifth with a mark of 46-04.75 (14.14m). Both marks were season bests and ranked among the UH top 10.

Louise Mulvey set another UH top 10 for the Rainbow Wahine, this time in the mile, turning in a time of 5:01.91 for No. 5 on the UH books.

Next up for the Rainbow Wahine is a return appearance at the Clarence T.C. Ching Complex, as UH plays host to the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in the second meet of the 2016 Sunrise Series, slated for Saturday, Feb. 6.Â
