Marcel Chan, who will be a junior this coming season, partnered with recent alum Carter Lam to finish in fourth place after falling to Mikael Maatta and Jan Axel Tribler in a tightly contested battle, 8-6. Chan and Lam, who were seeded fourth in the tournament, earlier fell in the semifinals to the top-seeded duo of Ikaika Jobe and Dennis Lajola, 6-4, 6-3. Jobe and Lajola fell in the championship match to Hendrik Bode and Nikola Petrov, 1-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4.

Chan also was awarded the Sam Caldwell Amateur Athlete Award which is bestowed upon the amateur who goes the furthest in the tournament. It is the second straight season that Chan has earned the prestigious award.
