The Mustangs took the early lead as they won two out of the three doubles matches to capture the first point. On the  No. 2 court, the Mustangs' Hannah Stone and Emily Gibbens defeated UH's Klara Pribylova and Paulina Petriskova, 8-4. Cal Poly's No. 3 pair of Zoe Oedekerk and Molly Reed controlled the match against the `Bows' Sarah Gealer and Viktoria Malova, 8-5 to clinch the point. . 

The `Bows had a dominant effort in singles to win the match. No. 1 Cindy Nguyen defeated Cal Poly's Louise Oxnevad, 6-0, 6-4. On the No. 4 court, UH's Petriskova cruised past the Mustangs Hannah Stone, 6-1, 6-4, while the `Bows' Malova won on the No. 2 court in straight sets against Cal Poly's Emily Gibbens, 7-6 (6), 6-1. The Mustangs, however, did not go down easy. In the No. 3 slot, Cal Poly's Molly Reed kept her singles streak alive, beating UH's Kostalova 6-3, 6-3. The Rainbow Wahine clinched the match when senior Rebecca Faltusz battled against Cal Poly's Sayaka Tsugai in the No. 6 match, and won in straight sets 6-1, 6-3. UH's Gealer led against Oedekerk in the third set, but the match went unfinished.  

The `Bows will next play No. 54 Illinois on March 25 at the UCSB Tennis Courts. First serve is slated for 1:00 p.m. (PT).
