Alkhaldi Concludes NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi concluded the 2015 Women's NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships competing in the 100 freestyle event, Saturday night at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
 
In her first-ever appearance at the national championships, Alkhaldi wrapped up with her third event of the meet finishing 34th out of over 60 of the country's fastest swimmers in the 100 freestyle (49.01) in the morning's preliminary rounds.
 
After three days at the NCAA championships, the Rainbow Wahine earned four points after Aimee Harrison's performances in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving finals. Harrison, who finished 14th on the 1-meter and 16th on the 3-meter, also earned All-American Honorable Mention honors.
 
Rainbow Warrior diver Amund Gismervik heads to the 2015 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, March 26-28 at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center in Iowa City, Iowa. Gismervik, who finished with a bronze medal on the platform at last season's championships, will compete in all three diving events again this year.
