Day 2 ResultsLOS ANGELES, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's track and field team capped a successful Trojan Invitational, Saturday, with one school record and 14 Big West Conference Championship qualifying marks.

One week after receiving one of the conference's Scholar-Athlete of Year awards,
Alex Porlier Langlois broke the school's outdoor shot put record with a heave of 52-7½ (16.04m) to win the event. The previous mark was held by Meghan Weaver, who threw 51-7¼ (15.73m) in 2008.

Over the two-day meet, Porlier Langlois set three Big West Conference qualifying marks and two personal bests, including in the hammer throw, which she is competing in for the first time in her career.

Junior
Charlinda Ioane placed third in the shot put with a new personal best and BW qualifying mark of 47-3½ (14.41m).

The Rainbow Wahine swept the top three spots in the pole vault, led by sophomore
Amber Kozaki, who cleared 12-2½ (3.72m).
Tiziana Ruiz Dominguez also cleared the same height but placed second while
Robyn Morioka took third with a clearance of 11-8½ (3.57m).

Rachel Toliver and senior
Louise Mulvey also posted personal bests in the triple jump and 800-meters, respectively. Toliver jumped 39-9¾ (12.13m), which moved her up to No. 3 all-time in school history. Mulvey crossed the finish line in 2:13.67, which placed her third in the race.

In the 400-meter hurdles,
Robyn Brown (1:04.12) and
Jade Vaughan (1:04.88) each met the Big West qualifying standard while in the javelin, Felicia Vazquez and
Destiny Dawson also posted qualifying marks of 132-6 (40.40m) and 118-11 (36.25m), respectively.
