HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team continues Big West Conference play when it hosts CSUN on Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The 'Bows dropped their conference opener on Wednesday, falling in overtime to Cal Poly. UH had its lowest scoring first half of the season and trailed by 12 before rallying to take the lead with under five minutes to play in the game. Some timely Mustang shooting and costly Rainbow Warrior turnovers, however, would prove to be the difference down the stretch and in overtime.

Aaron Valdes had a solid night from the floor, scoring 20 points and hitting a career-high three shots from beyond the arc.

Hawai'i will look to bounce back against a CSUN team that comes in 4-12 overall and 0-1 in the league after having lost its opener on Wednesday at UC Davis.
