Bryan Clay Invitational ResultsWALNUT, Calif. – For the second straight day, University of Hawai'i thrower
Alex Porlier Langlois set a personal best in the shot put with a heave of 50-0.5 (15.25m) at the Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
The junior from St-Cesaire, Quebec placed fourth in the University division and eclipsed her mark of 49-7 (15.11m) that she set a day earlier at the CSULA Twilight Open. Her new mark of 50-0.5 now ranks second all-time in school history behind Meghan Weaver's school-record throw of 51-7.25 (15.73m).
The Rainbow Wahine split their squad between the Mt. SAC Relays and Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. Also at Mt. SAC, senior
Kevyn Murphy ran a seasonal-best time of 4:39.75.
In Azusa, freshman
Kayla Phillips qualified for the Big West Championships in the triple jump with a seasonal-best of 37-3.25 (11.36m). Freshman
Rachel Toliver won her heat and qualified for the Big West Championships in the 200-meters in 25.20 seconds.
In addition, sophomore
Daphne Cobbs ran a personal best in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.00 while freshman
Caitlyn Foss ran a seasonal-best in the 5000-meters in 20:19.65.
UH concludes its week-long road trip with the Beach Invitational in Cerritos, Calif.
