UH Sailors Place In Top 12 Of St. Francis Intersectional

SAN FRANCISCO – The University of Hawai'i competed in the St. Francis Intersectional, March 29-30, with a pair of teams finishing in the top 12. The Stanford women captured the regatta with a low of 74, while the Cardinal coed team finished second with a total of 83 points.

A total of 29 teams entered the two-day regatta with 18 combined races in the A and B divisions. The Rainbows entered both a coed and women's squad. The coed squad finished in eighth place with 169 points. The women's team finished 12th overall with 237 points.

The UH coed team will next host PCCSC Coed Dinghy Championships at Keehi Lagoon on April 26-27. The Rainbow Wahine next compete in the PCCSC Women's Championship, April 4-5, in Santa Barbara, Calif.
