Last time out...
The Rainbow Wahine fell on the road at CSU Bakersfield, 78-69 on Saturday afternoon in the Icardo Center. The loss snapped UH's three-game road winning streak.
Destiny King's career-high 15 points was not enough as the Rainbow Wahine lost on the road for the first time this season. Three other Hawai'i players posted double-digits in points.
Ashleigh Karaitiana notched her second double-double of the season with 13 points and a career-high 12 rebounds while
Morgan Mason scored 12 points and dished out a career-high eight rebounds.
Briana Harris scored a season-high 10 points and tied her career-high with five rebounds.
Hawai'i led by as many as nine points in the first half and went into halftime holding a 42-37 lead. But in the second half, the Roadrunners went on an 11-to-5 run which staggered UH and gave CSUB a 48-47 lead. But Hawai'i would battle back to retake the lead twice, the last time at 58-57 on a put-back by Karaitiana with 10:23 left in the game. But CSUB then mounted a 12-to-0 run from which UH could not recover from. Hawai'i would cut their deficit to just three points with 1:39 left on an old-fashioned 3-point play from Harris. But the Roadrunners would pull away scoring the game's final six points.
