HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team (2-0, 0-0 Big West) return home after a successful roadtrip to host their home opening Bank of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine Classic, Friday, Nov. 21 and Sunday Nov. 23. Coming to Honolulu are No. 14 California (2-0, 0-0 PAC-12), UNLV (2-0, 0-0 MWC) and Missouri (2-0, 0-0 SEC). Hawai'i will be playing only Cal and UNLV in this two-day tournament.
The Rainbow Wahine are coming off their first ever 2-0 start on the road and first 2-0 start since the 2002-03 season. Hawai'i defeated Mountain West pre-season favorite Colorado State in overtime, 63-58 then came back to edge out Denver, 60-58 two days later. Against the Rams, Destiny King three led Hawai'i players in double figures with 14 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for her second career double-double. Shawna-Lei Kuehu also posted a double-double with 12 points and a team-high 11 rebounds while Ashleigh Karaitiana added 12 points and Morgan Mason pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds. At Denver, Mason came through in the clutch, scoring a career-high 23 points—including UH's last 12 straight points to defeat the Pioneers. For her efforts, Mason earned Big West Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career on Monday.
Mason leads UH through the first two games, averaging 15.5 points a game with a team-high seven assists and tied for team-high with Kuehu with 17 rebounds. Karaitiana is second on the team, scoring 12 points in both games thus far. She has the team lead with four steals while Kuehu is averaging 9.5 points and 8.5 rebounds a game. She is the team-leader with four blocked shots and is second with six assists.

Tickets: General admission-adult: $7; General Admission-Senior Citizen: $5; Students (ages 4-high school): $3; UH Manoa Students receive admission to regular season home games by presenting a valid UH I.D.

Radio: ESPN 1420 AM will carry Sunday's game only live with Dave Kawada (play-by-play) and Tiff Wells (color). Neighbor islands can listen live on KNUI on Maui, KHLO in Hilo, KKON in Kona, and KTOH on Kaua'i.
