Day 1 Results
KAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team stands in 12
th place following the first two rounds of the Pac-12 Preview at Nanea, Monday, held at the exclusive Nanea Golf Club.
The Rainbow Wahine shot rounds of 312 and 302 for a 614 total. Fifth-ranked Washington (568) holds the first day lead by two strokes over top-ranked UCLA (570) followed by No. 2 USC (572).
Individually, UCLA's Bronte Law has a four-stoke lead after rounds of 70 and 65 for an 11-under 135 total. Washington's SooBin Kim is second at 7-under 139 while Maui's Cassy Isagawa of Oregon is third at 6-under 140 with rounds of 67 and 73.
Freshman
Raquel Ek is the top UH golfer at 5-over 151 following rounds of 77 and 74 and is in 39
th place. Freshman
Izzy Leung is tied for 46
th at 8-over 154 (76-78) while freshman
Brianna Becker is one stroke back at 9-over 155 (82-73), which included a second round even par 73.
Senior
Charlee Kapiioho-Sagum fired rounds of 79 and 77 for a 156 total while sophomore
Nichole Cruz followed her opening round 80 with a second round 78 for a 158 total.
The tournament concludes with the third and final round on Tuesday. The tourney features 11 Pac-12 teams of which nine are nationally ranked along with 28 ranked individuals.
