Final Results

HONOLULU – Results from Saturday's Sunset Meet #5 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Field. The competition was the fifth and final all-comer meet in the Sunset Series that the University of Hawai'i women's track and field team hosted this season.
 
Among the highlights are Ashley Aitken in the 1,000-meters in which she posted the third fastest time in school history at 2:56.49. The hurdles trio of Samantha Esperanza, Samantha Balentine and Zhane Santiago recorded all-time bests in the 100-meter hurdles, although wind-aided, and were within .04 seconds of each other at 14.55, 14.57, and 14.59, respectively.
 
The Rainbow Wahine will next compete in the Oxy Invitational, Saturday, May 5.
