REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i coed sailing team finished in fourth place at the Jeremy McIntyre Team Race held March 3-4. Michigan and USC shared the regatta title with a 6-1 record.
A total of 10 teams competed in the two-day event. A full round robin was not able to be completed due to weather conditions. Although 45 races were scheduled, only 34 were completed, leading to an alternative scoring method. The standings were calculated by the best winning percentage. The Rainbows finished the weekend with a 5-3 record behind Stanford (5-1) and UC Santa Barbara (5-2).
