LOS ANGELES—The University of Hawai'i coed sailing team finished in fourth place at the Port of Los Angeles Harbor Cup hosted by the Los Angeles Yacht Club, March 11-13.

 

Nine collegiate and academy teams competed in the three-day regatta which had a total of ten races completed. Hawai'i had top three finishes in five of the 10 races including wins in the 8^th and 10^th race of the regatta. Cal Maritime took the regatta with 22 points, followed by Navy with 34 points. Hawai'i finished 19 points behind Cal Maritime with 41 points.

 

Sailing for the Rainbows were Zachary Hester, Michael Hanson, Craig Schifferns, Hannah Tuson-Turner Matthew Wenner and Tate Wester.
