HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team (10-18, 4-11 WAC) plays its final regular season home game of the year when it hosts Utah State on Thursday, March 3. Seniors

Keisha Kanekoa will be honored at the conclusion with Senior Night festivities. Tipoff is 7:00 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The 'Bows, who are looking to lock up a spot in next week's WAC Tournament, are coming off a 70-83 loss to the Western Athletic Conference's second place team, Fresno State. After trailing by as much as 20 points in the first half, the Rainbow Wahine battled back in teh second half with a furious comeback, cutting their deficit to as little as seven points twice. But the Bulldogs always had an answer and eventually pulled away for the win. Junior forward

Kamilah Jackson grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds in the loss.
UH will take on a Utah State squad (15-12, 9-5 WAC) that remains in a battle with Nevada for third place in the WAC standings after splitting their two home games last week with a win over New Mexico State, 72-61 and a loss to Louisiana Tech, 70-78.
The 'Bows will be able to clinch a spot in the WAC tournament next week if they defeat Utah State or if San Jose State loses one game. The Spartans close their regular season with a pair of home games against Fresno State on Thursday, March 3 and Utah State on Saturday, March 5.

Series Information: Hawai`i and Utah State are tied at 7-7. Earlier this season, UH lost at Logan, Utah, 41-52. Last season, UH defeated the Aggies in Honolulu, 69-56 but fell in Logan, 51-53.
