Men's Tennis Returns Home for a Pair of Matches

HONOLULU -- The No. 74 University of Hawai'i men's tennis team return home this week for a pair of matches against Loyola Marymount and No. 8 Michigan. First serve is at 3:00 pm at the UH Tennis Complex for both matches.

No. 8 Michigan (6-3) has been a tough contender throughout the season with a record of 6-1 against nationally ranked teams, including then No. 6 Duke and then No. 5 Texas. The Wolverines will come prepared with a few nationally ranked singles players – No. 27 Evan King and No. 45 Jason Jung. The pair is also ranked No. 11 in doubles.

UH (1-5) is looking to come out strong with the home court advantage this week. Although they have been struggling this season, Dennis Lajola and Leo Rosenberg are looking to continue their win streak after both claimed singles victories in the last match against then No. 65 UC Santa Barbara.

During Thursday's match against No. 8 Michigan, UH will be providing free Papa John's Pizza (while supplies last) to everyone who comes out to support the Warriors.
