HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team (6-14, 0-7 WAC) returns home to take on Nevada (13-6, 2-4 WAC) after a winless five-game road swing. The 'Bows are looking to snap it's eight game losing streak and post a win in conference for the first time this season. Tip off is slated for 7:00 on Monday, Jan. 31 at the Stan Sheriff Center.
NCAA DI rebound leader, freshman
Kamilah Jackson, returns to the line-up after a one game suspension for violating team rules. Jackson leads Hawai`i with 13.0 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. The frosh forward has made a huge impact for the 'Bows this year, tallying nine double-doubles. She has done the job both on the offensive and defensive glass, grabbing 109 offensive and 127 defensive boards. In conference games, she is averaging a staggering 15.5 rebounds per game along with 11.2 points per game.
Senior point guard
Keisha Kanekoa is having a solid season. She is second on the team with 11.4 points per game and leads UH with 66 assists and a free-throw percentage .757 and also has 29 steals.
Megan Tinnin is third on the squad, averaging 8.9 points per game. She also leads UH with 36 3-pointers made and 31 steals. She has helped to crash the boards contributing 4.1 rebounds per game, while freshman
Shawna-Lei Kuehu has started all 20 games and is currently is averaging 8.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists in 28.8 minutes per game.

Opponent: Nevada is currently sixth in the WAC with a 13-6 overall and 2-4 in WAC play. The Wolf Pack are coming off a 72-51 loss in Reno to Fresno State on Sat., Jan. 29.
Coaches: Hawai'i head coach Dana Takahara-Dias is in her second season at UH (16-34). Nevada head coach, Jane Albright has a record of 51-36 at Nevada in three seasons and overall in 27 seasons, she is 445-348 with the Wolf Pack.
