HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine soccer team (0-1-1) hosts the Hawai'i Pacific Sea Warriors on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 5 p.m., in the Outrigger Hotels “Hawai'i College Soccer Showcase” at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium.

 

The Rainbow Wahine are coming off a weekend where they faced two ranked opponents in No. 25 Brigham Young and No. 2 Stanford. After playing the Cougars to a 0-0 tie, UH fell to the Cardinal 6-2, becoming the first team to score more than one goal on Stanford since 2007.

 

Senior Britta Bourne led UH offensively, posting a goal and an assist in the Stanford match. Sophomore Rachel Domingo scored the other goal for Hawai'i while Ambree Ako and Skye Shimabukuro each had an assist.
