HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team lost a heartbreaker against East Tennessee State, 94-83 in overtime Sunday night at the Stan Sheriff Center in the final game of the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic.
The Rainbow Wahine came from nine-points behind at halftime to force overtime, but could pull off the rally in extra time. UH falls to 1-4 on the season.

Keisha Kanekoa was named to the all-tournament team, following the game.
Sunday night,
Allie Patterson came off the bench to spark the Rainbow Wahine. Patterson scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 35 minutes of action.
Kanekoa had 17 points and five assists and
Rebecca Dew had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Dita Liepkalne had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists and
Shawna Kuehu had 11 points and nine rebounds.
The Rainbow Wahine made a comeback to start the second half, scoring the first seven points to cut the lead to one point. UH would go back-and-forth with East Tennessee State for the rest of the second half, exchanging leads 10 times down the stretch.
After ETSU took a two-point lead with 1:56 left in the game, Patterson made a layup with 1:31 left to tie the game 75-75. The game remained tied the rest of the game as both teams exchanged misses.
In the first half, the Rainbow Wahine scored the highest first half total of the season, but trailed 49-41. UH shot 42.1 percent from the field and eight players scored.
Liepkalne led the way with nine points and Dew, Kanekoa and Patterson each had six points in the half. Kanekoa added four assists and Patterson had five rebounds.
UH continues its homestand on Thursday night when it hosts San Francisco at 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
