HONOLULU – The University of Hawai`i men's tennis team competed in both singles and doubles matches today against national and Pac-10 powerhouse, Stanford. The Rainbow Warriors held their own against the Cardinal who have four players and two doubles teams ranked in the ITA Preseason Rankings, including two players ranked in the Top 20.

Andreas Weber played against Alex Clayton ranked No. 7 by the ITA Singles Rankings. Weber was able to take the match to a super tie breaker but fell short to Clayton by a score of 6-7,6-3,10-4.
The Rainbow Warriors bad luck continued into doubles play with the team of Eberhard/Weber falling to Clayton and Ted Kelly in the tie breaker. The teams of Rosenberg/Tweedt and Llarenas/Faulk competed also lost their doubles matches.
