Rainbow Warriors Wrap Up Hawai’i Invitational

HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i men's tennis team finished the last day of the three-day Hawai`i Invitational against BYU, Thursday at the UH Tennis Complex . The invitational was concluded with six doubles matches. The Rainbow Warriors played very well with a handful of close matches.
 
The Warriors had six players in action, Andreas Weber, Philipp Eberhard, Craig Faulk, Daniel Llarenas, Leo Rosenberg, and Jeremy Tweedt. The Warriors experimented with a mixture of teams and it turned out well. They finished the day with a 2-4 record with most matches going down to the wire.
 
UH's top player, junior Dennis Lajola, ranked No. 43 in the preseason ITA rankings, sat out of competition for the entire invitational. Also, Dmytro Kovalyov sat out of the third day of competition.
 
Up next for the Warriors is a match up against Stanford in Waikoloa, Hawai'i.
