Rainbow Sailors Finish Second At PCCSC Sloops

RICHMOND, Calif. – In its first team event of the season, the University of Hawai`i coed sailing team finished in a tie for second in the PCCSC Sloop Championships held, Oct. 3-4.
 
UC Irvine won the regatta and will represent the conference at the sloop nationals to be held in New London, Conn., Oct. 24-25. UH and USC finished three points behind the Anteaters with 18 points. Sailing for the Rainbows were Jaclyn McLoughlin, Ryan Wild, William Petersen, Zachary Hester and Matthew Wenner.
 
Next up for the coed team is the Stony Burke Intersectional, Oct. 10-11, in San Francisco, Calif.
