Game Notes
HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team plays in its first regular season game at the Stan Sheriff Center when it hosts the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic beginning Friday, Nov. 28 and running through Sunday, Nov. 30.
The three-day, six-team classic features three ranked teams and will be played at 11 a.m., 1:10 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The highest ranked team is No. 5 Stanford, followed by No. 19 Purdue and No. 25 Iowa State. Rounding out the classic field is San Diego State and Prairie View.
The Rainbow Wahine open the classic against San Diego State on Friday at 3:20 p.m. UH faces No. 19 Purdue on Saturday at 1:10 p.m., followed by a match-up with No. 5 Stanford on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Television: KFVE-TV (Ch. 5 - The Home Team) will carry UH's game against No. 5 Stanford on Sunday, Nov. 30. Jim Leahey will handle the play-by-play and Lori Santi will provide color commentary.
