In the mean time, Costi kept the Pack off the scoreboard despite allowing Nevada runners to reach scoring position in six of the eight innings that he pitched, before giving the ball to Richard Olsen to close the game with a 1-2-3 inning in the ninth.
Hawai`i will now get a week off before hosting the Fresno State Bulldogs in their home finale, running from May 12-14 at Les Murakami Stadium.
