Biography

2008 (Junior): Played in 14 matches...scored seven goals, including three in the team's final regular season match against Cal Poly-Pomona (April 13)...had five assists and 10 steals.

2007 (Sophomore): Played in 24 matches, making two starts...scored five goals during the season, including a career-high two against Pacific (April 26)...posted three assists and four steals along with three kickouts on defense.

2006 (Freshman): Participated in six matches off the bench...best match of the season came at Pacific (Feb. 9), dishing out a season-high two assists and recording one steal...lone goal came against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (March 14).

2005: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School in Baibridge Island, Wash...earned three letters in water polo under coach Jeff Clark and three letters in swimming under coach Greg Colby...was all-state defensive MVP and first team all-state her senior year in water polo...attended Poway High School her freshman year.

Personal: Born in Dickinson, N.D...majoring in art...has one sister and two brothers...parents are Shirley and John Swanson of Poulsbo, Wash.
