Karin Van Hoff

After three seasons as a Rainbow Wahine, Karin van Hoff enters her first season as a volunteer coach.  Van Hoff's duties are assisting the team with practice and game strategy.

Van Hoff's dynamic career as a Rainbow Wahine rank her among the schools best.  Van Hoff ended her career with 105 goals to place fifth on the school's all-time goals scored list.  In addition, van Hoff is second in career goals attempted (350), fourth in career assists (54), and second in career steals (203).

As the lone senior of last season's squad, van Hoff was named an honorable mention All-American and to the All-MPSF third team.  In 2002 van Hoff was named honorable mention American Water Polo Coaches' Association All-America team.

Van Hoff was a member of the Dutch national team for six years, and won two European titles and one world title with the girls' under 20 team.

Born on Jan. 25, 1978, in Barendrecht, Netherlands, van Hoff is majoring in Spanish.  In her spare time she enjoys scuba diving and traveling.
