    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Helen Meigs begins her first season as volunteer assistant coach for the Rainbow Wahine Water Polo program. She comes to UH off a successful collegiate, club, and high school water polo career.
 
Meigs was a four-year starter at Princeton University, where she holds the school record for assists. She was team captain her senior season in 2010, and received the Tiger Award, which is an award given to the individual who contributed the most in play, sportsmanship, and dedication.
 
She also played for San Diego Shores Water Polo club for six years, and was named a junior Olympic first-team All-American in 2006. She also helped as an assistant coach for the 14 and 16 year-old bracket in summer 2010.
 
Meigs graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish language and literature, and politics. She continues her education at the University of Hawai‘i studying marine biology and currently resides in Honolulu.
