2001 (Junior): Co-captain played in all 20 matches, starting 19 at central midfielder...leader by example...sets the tone for team work ethic...helped lead Rainbow Wahine to a runner-up WAC regular-season finish and to the WAC Tournament Championship match...took seven shots, one on goal...posted an assist in WAC Tournament win over Boise State (Nov. 7)...earned NSCAA Academic All-Region second-team honors...also selected as an NSCAA Scholar-Athlete...named to academic all-WAC for third consecutive season.

2000 (Sophomore): Played in all 20 matches, starting 18 in the midfield...recorded two offensive points on assists against Boise State (Aug. 25) and Hawai'i Pacific (Oct. 29)...credited with game-winning assist in that contest...took seven shots, two on goal...academic all-WAC.

1999 (Freshman): Played in all 20 matches, starting 17...played primarily in the midfield, but also used at defender...showed good poise, strength and passing ability...took nine shots, three on goal...academic all-WAC.

Prep: A 1998 graduate of Aiea High School on Oahu... lettered four years in both soccer and bowling and two years in basketball...voted to the all-state team...voted to Oahu Interscholastic Association soccer all-star first-team in junior and senior seasons...a second-team all-OIA selection as a sophomore...all-OIA honorable mention as a freshman...a member of the National Honor Society...member of Key Club, Japanese Club and the class council.

Personal: Born Nov. 23, 1980, in Honolulu... enjoys jogging, intramural sports and decorating her room...majoring in physical education...lists her older sisters, Wendy and Wynne, as the most influential people in her life...favorite athlete is professional golfer and brother-in-law Regan Lee...other favorites include the colors green and pink, Magoo's pizza, the movie "Notting Hill," and actors Julia Roberts and Adam Sandler...has two sisters...parents are Wanda and Walt Miyashiro of Aiea, Oahu.
