Biography

2001 (Junior): Played in 18 matches, starting 17...team's attacking midfielder helped make the Rainbow Wahine offense tick...tied for the team lead with five assists...recorded a career-high nine offensive points on two goals and five assists...both of her goals were game-winners against Idaho (Sept. 7) and UTEP (Oct. 19)...played the final nine matches of the season with a broken right wrist which she incurred against No. 24 St. Mary's on Sept. 28...set a school record for match assists, when she tallied three in win at Nevada (Oct. 28)...other assists came against Cal State Northridge (Sep. 22) and Rice (Oct. 14)...took 28 shots, 13 on goal.

2000 (Sophomore): 2000 (Sophomore): Played in 17 matches, started five...team's primary attacking midfielder... voted all-tournament midfielder at the Outrigger No Ka Oi, the Outrigger Invitational and the Outrigger Soccer Festival...tallied four offensive points on a goal and two assists... scored against WAC tournament champion San Jose State (Sep. 28)...recorded assists against Boise State (Aug. 25) and Northern Arizona (Sep. 1)... took 23 shots, five on goal.

1999 (Freshman): Played in all 20 matches, starting 19...freshman sensation started season at defender...moved to attacking midfielder late in season and played remarkably, recording a school-record three game-winning assists in her first three starts at her new position...took 14 shots, three on goal...assists came against UTEP (Oct. 17), TCU (Oct. 24) and Texas Wesleyan (Oct. 25)...voted to No Ka Oi Wahine Soccer all-tournament team after Hawai'i shut out all its opponents in the tourney.

1998: Did not play while attending Leeward Community College part-time.

Prep: A 1998 graduate of Pearl City High School on Oahu...lettered four years in soccer...also played basketball for the Chargers...Oahu Interscholastic Association and Hawai'i State Player of the Year honors...led her team to the 1997 Hawai'i state high school title...also guided Chargers to OIA crowns in 1996 and '98... selected team's most inspirational and MVP.

Personal: Born July 16, 1980, in Honolulu... favorites include soccer icon Pele, the color blue, spaghetti, actors Steven Seagal and Julia Roberts and the movie "Scream"...lists winning the 1997 state prep soccer championship at Aloha Stadium as her biggest athletic thrill...has three brothers...parents are Annette and Anthony Makue of Wahiawa, Oahu.
