Biography

2002 (Junior): Played in 18 matches, starting in 17...made a significant impact in her first season as a Rainbow Wahine, racking up 11 offensive points on four goals and three assists...scored her first three goals of the season in three consecutive games against Weber (Sep. 27, Sep. 29) and Tulsa (Oct. 11), second goal against Weber was the game winner...recorded three offensive points at San Jose State (Nov. 1) on a goal and an assist...also had an assist in games against San Francisco (Sep. 14) and Nevada (Oct. 27)...voted co-MVP by teammates...had 30 shots, 14 of which were on goal.

2001: Redshirted.

Loyola Marymount: Played two seasons for the Lions...appeared in 17 games, starting in 13 as a sophomore...finished fifth on the team in scoring with five points... scored two goals and added an assist...enjoyed a breakthrough season as a true freshman for the Lions...one of two freshmen to earn all-West Coast Conference honorable mention honors in 1999...played in all 19 games...only missed one start in the final 11 games of the season...her 11 points on the season were fourth on the team..was fourth on the team with four goals and tied for second with three assists...three of her goals were game-winners, including back-to-back 1-0 wins over California and Texas...finished the season with 21 shots, 10 on goal...was voted on the <i>Soccer America</i> Team of the Week twice (Sep. 20 and Oct. 4)...voted WCC Player of the Week on Sept. 21...was voted Rookie of the Year by her teammates.

Prep: A 1999 graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu...a four-year soccer letterwinner, she also earned letters in volleyball and basketball...served as team captain her senior year...garnered all-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honors as a junior and senior and was a three-time all-state selection...named ILH Player of the Year in 1998...helped lead her basketball team to state championship as a junior...prep soccer coaches were Debbie Ching and Wendy Thompson.

Personal: Born Sept. 29, 1980, in Honolulu... biggest athletic thrill was winning the state soccer championship...favorites include NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal, ice cream and the book <i>Chicken Soup for the Soul</i>...has twin daughters, Lia and Tia...has two brothers, Tau and current Warrior football player Tanuvasa, and one sister, former Rainbow Wahine soccer player, Tui....a business major...daughter of Tuitoga and Jo Anne Moe.
