2011 (Senior): Played in all 18 matches while starting 14 at midfield….logged 1,269 minutes on the year, the most among midfielders and third-most among all field players…recorded one assist on the year, coming in a 3-0 win against Fresno State (Oct. 14)…took 12 shots with three on goal.
2010 (Junior): Played and started in every game of the season…one of just four players to start all 20 games…a consistent performer in the midfield…third on the team in minutes played (1,706)...posted two assists and 15 shots on the year… provided assist on Mari Punzal’s game-winning goal against San Francisco (Sept. 3)…also registered an assist in a loss to Idaho (Oct. 3)…named to the OHANA Hotels & Resorts No Ka Oi and Cal Invitational all-tournament teams.
2009 (Sophomore): Played 16 games at midfielder, making 11 starts…posted 10 shots on the year, including three on goal...played the entire match took a season-high two shots against Fresno State (Oct. 4)...played the full duration in five matches with four resulting in wins, including UH’s season finale at Idaho (Nov. 1).
2008 (Freshman): Played in 13 matches and started one against San Francisco (Sept. 14) as a true freshman at midfielder…fired five shots with one in goal…made academic all-WAC first-year team.
Prep: A 2008 graduate of King Kekaulike High School in Pukalani, Maui…four-year letterwinner in soccer and three-year letterwinner in basketball…helped her team win the league titles in 2006 and ’07…named the league Player of the Year in 2007…played club soccer for Rip Girlz and Na Kolohe.
Personal: Born in Wailuku, Maui…intends to major in psychology...has one older brother and one older sister…parents are Fran and Kevin Kihara of Kula, Maui.
