2004 (Senior): Senior co-captain...a first-team all-WAC selection...was also a preseason all-WAC selection...became just the second player in school history to be named an Academic All-American, earning third team honors from CoSIDA....named CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII for the second straight year...also earned all-WAC academic honors... started all 21 matches for UH at outside midfield...led the team with six assists...took 10 shots, four on goal, with zero goals scored....recorded two assists in 3-0 shutout of Gonzaga (Sept. 26)...provided game-winning dishes in 2-0 win over Tulsa (Oct. 3) and 1-0 double-overtime victory at San Jose State (Oct. 24)...ranks second all-time at UH in assists with 19...along with Liz Lusk finished her career having appeared in more matches than any other Rainbow Wahine, a total of 81...did not miss a single-match in her four-year career and ended with a school-record 81 consecutive starts.

2003 (Junior): Team co-captain...a second-team all-WAC selection...one of just three players to start all 20 matches...tallied three assists from her left midfield position...launched 27 shots, including 11 on goal, but did not score on the season...earned CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII first team  and National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas All-West Region Scholar third-team honors...a UH scholar-athlete.

2002 (Sophomore): Speedy midfielder started all 20 matches...tallied seven offensive points on one goal and five assists...co-captain was a staple in the Rainbow Wahine lineup, exceling on both ends of the field...relentless play earned her all-tournament honors in the OHANA No Ka Oi...netted a goal at UTEP (Oct. 18)... assisted on the game-winning goal against Rice (Oct. 13)...also recorded assists against Wyoming (Sept. 1), Long Beach State (Sept. 23), and Nevada (Oct. 27)...named academic all-WAC and a UH scholar-athlete.

2001 (Freshman): Started in all 20 matches at left wing midfielder...tied then-school freshman assists record, with five...fell one assist shy of matching school season record...posted seven offensive points on a goal and five assists...set a new school freshman assists record (5)...assists came against Eastern Washington (Sept. 10), Cal State Northridge (Sept. 22), UTEP (Oct. 19), and San Jose State (Nov. 1)... also recorded an assist in WAC Tournament quarterfinal win over Boise State (Nov. 7)...first collegiate goal was the game-winner against Fresno State (Nov. 3)...finished tied for sixth in the WAC in assists...led all Hawai`i freshmen in points (7) ...took 17 shots, seven on goal...a UH Scholar-Athlete.

Prep: A 2001 graduate of Aiea High School on Oahu...lettered four years in soccer, three years in basketball and twice in volleyball...named to all-state soccer team three times...two-time Oahu Interscholastic Association West Division soccer Player of the Year...four-time  all-OIA West pick in soccer...as a senior, was voted first team all-state, OIA West Division Player of the Year, and first team all-OIA West...as a junior, was voted first team all-state, OIA West Player of the Year, and first team all-OIA West...earned second-team all-state and second-team all-OIA West honors as a sophomore...a second-team all-OIA West pick as a freshman...also voted to all-OIA West first team in volleyball as a defensive specialist following her senior season...a senior starter on the girl's state basketball championship team...a veteran of the Olympic Development Program, she was selected to the ODP Western Regional in 1997 and '98...selected to play for the Western Regional Team in 1998...plays club soccer for Leahi...served as class president for her junior and senior classes...sophomore class treasurer...a principal's list student...also recruited by California and Utah.

Personal: Born Nov. 9, 1983, in Honolulu...a business major...has one older brother...parents are Amy and Steve Sugai of Aiea, Oahu.
