2001 (Freshman): Walk-on striker earned a roster spot at open fall tryouts…one of just two walk-ons to make the team this season…made her first collegiate appearance in Hawai‘i’s victory over Boise State in the (Nov. 7) WAC Tournament.

Prep: A 2001 graduate of Kapaa High School in Kapaa, Kauai… earned three varsity letters in soccer…helped team to Kauai Interscholastic Federation championship during her sophomore and junior seasons…coached by Althea Arinaga and Kevin Devitt…teammate of current Wahine Arlene Devitt…member of the Kauai Performing Arts Center…graduated magna cum laude.

Personal: Born June 30, 1983, in Orange County, Calif… nickname is “Stray Dog”…aspires to be a professional singer…enjoys photography…favorites include soft bagels, singer Celine Dion, <i>The Count of Monte Cristo</i>, actor Richard Gere and musical group No Doubt…favorite quote is “A world without music would be a world without its heart and soul”…has one brother and four sisters…parents are Janice and Ricky Barnett of Princeville, Kauai.
