Kaula Rowe is heading into her fifth season on the staff of the University of Hawai‘i soccer program in 2025 after joining the Rainbow Wahine prior to the 2021 season. Rowe served two seasons as an assistant coach and was elevated to associate head coach in 2023.

Coaching Highlights
  • Helped lead UH to its first-ever Big West regular season title in 2024.
  • The Rainbow Wahine set a school-record for conference wins in 2024, going 8-1-1.
  • UH's 25 points in the Big West standings in 2024 were the most by a team in the conference since 2016.
  • Helped guide the 'Bows to a program-record nine-match unbeaten streak in 2024, higlighted by a school single-season record seven-match winning streak.
  • Coached three players to Big West Player of the Year honors in 2024 (Nalani Damacion - Midfielder of the Year, Kennedy Justin – Goalkeeper of the Year, Jacey Jicha – Defensive Player of the Year).
  • UH finished 2024 by matching a program record with seven all-conference honorees.
  • Guided the Rainbow Wahine to their second-ever appearance in the Big West Championship tournament in 2023.
  • Helped four UH players earn All-Big West recognition in 2022.
  • The Rainbow Wahine went 6-6-3 in 2022, the best record for the program since 2018. 
  • Three Hawai‘i players earned All-Big West honors in 2021. 
  • A combined 26 student-athletes have earned Big West Academic Honor Roll. 
  • 14 earned Big West academic recognition in 2021 and 12 in 2022. 
  • Six student-athletes received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition in 2022. 
  • Spent time in Alaska as the executive director of the Wasilla Youth Soccer Association and head coach of the Bartlett High School girls soccer team from 2015-20.
  • Head coach at Chaminade University in Honolulu from 2009-12.
