Daniel Saucedo heads into his third season as an assistant coach with the Hawai‘i soccer program in 2024 after joining the staff in February 2023. Saucedo primarily works with the Rainbow Wahine goalkeepers and leads efforts on the recruiting trail.

Coaching Highlights
  • Helped lead the Rainbow Wahine to their first-ever Big West regular season title in 2024.
  • UH won a school-record eight conference matches, finishing 8-1-1 in Big West play.
  • Hawai‘i finished 2024 with 25 points in the Big West standings, the most by a team in the conference since 2016.
  • Coached goalkeeper Kennedy Justin to 2024 Big West Goalkeeper of the Year honors.
  • Justin became the first freshman ever to be named Big West Goalkeeper of the Year.
  • Helped Justin set a school-record with five consecutive shutouts from Sept. 26-Oct. 13, 2024, while matching a program single-season record with 11 wins.
  • Guided the UH to its second-ever appearance in the Big West Championship tournament in 2023 in his first year on staff.
  • Helped UMBC to its best record in six years in 2022.
  • The Retrievers scored the most goals and allowed the least by the program since 2016.
  • UMBC also recorded the most shutouts it has had in a single season since 2014 with seven clean sheets in 2022.
  • Also served as the recruiting coordinator during his time at UMBC.
  • Helped VMI achieve the highest GPA in program history during his one season with the Keydets in 2020. 
  • During his two seasons at North Georgia, the Nighthawks went 26-8-3 and made the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2019. 
  • Started collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach for the Georgia Southwestern men's program from 2016-17.
