2007 (Sophomore): Integral part of a UH squad that set a multitude of offensive records...named Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year...also named all-WAC first team...led the team with 32 points (12 goals, eight assists)...finished  the regular season as the WAC leader in points (20) and assists (6) and co-leader in goals (7) during conference matches...scored a goal or assisted in eight straight matches (Oct. 7-Nov. 4), falling one match short of the school scoring streak...became the first player in school history to start the season with goals in each of the first three matches....finished the season ranked 33rd in the NCAA in points per game (1.52)...led the team with four-game winning goals.....three multiple-goal performances...scored twice, including the golden goal in UH's 2-1 overtime win over Auburn (Sept. 3) in the OHANA Hotels & Resorts No Ka Oi...tallied two first-half goals to lead UH to a 2-1 win over Fresno State (Oct. 14) ...posted two goals and two assists in 7-0 over Idaho (Nov. 4)...named OHANA Hotels & Resorts No Ka `Oi MVP....an all-WAC Tournament honoree...twice named WAC Player of the Week (Oct. 16, Nov. 5) and to the  Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week (Sept. 5, Oct. 17)...awarded team's most outstanding forward...an all-WAC academic selection.

2006 (Freshman): Enjoyed a stellar freshman campaign...stepped into the starting lineup from the season's very first match and finished third on the team in points (14) and goals (5)...also finished tied for second in assists (4)...all four of her assists were of the game-winning variety, tying the single-season record set by Adria Campbell in 2005...two of her assists came in dramatic overtime wins over Northern Arizona (Sept. 12) and Cornell (Sept. 15)...first career goal came in second match of the season as her free kick proved to be the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Oklahoma (Aug. 28)...named to the OHANA Hotels No Ka `Oi all-tournament team for her heroics... also scored in matches vs. Kent State (Sept. 1), San Jose State (Oct. 22) and in back-to-back road contests at Idaho (Oct. 6) and Boise State (Oct. 8)...appeared in 20 matches with 18 starts...sidelined in just one match (Utah State, Oct 16).

Prep: A 2006 graduate of `Aiea High School on O`ahu... four-year starter for the Na Ali`i...two-year team captain...one of the state's top scorers, tallying a total of 54 goals in four-year career...helped lead team to three straight state semifinal appearances...a four-time all-state selection...a first-team all-state selection as a senior by the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and as a sophomore by The Honolulu Advertiser...earned second-team accolades as a freshman and junior...also a four-time all-league pick...named team's rookie of the year as a freshman after scoring 16 goals...led the team as a sophomore with 13 goals as `Aiea captured the division title with an undefeated record...scored 16 goals as a junior and led team to league title...tallied nine goals as a senior...also earned two letters in soft tennis... plays club soccer for IFC/Golden Eagles...a four-year honor-roll student...named to the principal's list as a senior.

Personal: Born Aug. 21, 1988, in Honolulu, O`ahu...nickname is "Bree"...enrolled in College of Arts and Sciences...has two brothers and one older sister...father, Gerald, is a former UH baseball standout and holds the school's career record for lowest ERA... parents are Shail Ako of Pearl City, O`ahu, and Gerald Ako of Lihue, Kaua`i.
