Summary

Biography

2011 (Senior): Played in 15 matches while starting in 10 in the backline…scored her first career goal against San Jose State (Oct. 16) on a free kick to help team earn a 1-1 tie against the Spartans… part of a backline that helped post shutouts against Nevada (Oct. 2), Fresno State (Oct. 14), and Louisiana Tech (Oct. 30)…recorded three shots and two on goal. 
2010 (Junior): Played in eight games and started in one aat Nevada as a center back (Oct.29)… played a career-high of 109 minutes in the double overtime loss to the Wolf Pack…part of a defense that shut out Wagner (Aug.22) to help capture the  season-opening OHANA Hotels and Resorts Shootout… team’s top scholar-athlete. 

2009 (Sophomore): Played in six games at defender with two starts…started against Stanford (Aug. 23) and against Idaho (Nov. 1)...played a season-high 61 minutes against Hawai‘i Pacific (Aug. 30)...part of defense that posted a shutout against Detroit-Mercy (Sept. 26).

Prior to UH: Played one season at the University of San Francisco…appeared in 12 games and started seven for USF…was named to the West Coast Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…named a USF scholar-athlete and gold honors recipient.

Prep: A 2008 graduate of ‘Iolani School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…was a three-year letterwinner in soccer and a two-year letterwinner in track and field…was named the James Pott Athletic Award recipient her senior year at ‘Iolani…played club soccer for three years with Le‘ahi Soccer Club.

Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu…nickname is “Simba”…a Spanish major…has one older brother...parents are Lori and John Simbahon of Kapolei, O‘ahu.
