2006 (Junior):  Second-year player played briefly in five matches...appeared in four UH wins, including tight 1-0 victories over Oklahoma (Aug. 28) and Louisiana Tech (Oct. 13)...logged 67 minutes on the year, including a season-high 22 minutes in win over  Winthrop (Sept. 3).

2005 (Sophomore): Appeared in a total of 15 matches...started first seven matches of the season…fired four shots from her central midfield position..

Prior to UH: Played one season (2004) at Western Oregon University, a Division II school in Monmouth, Ore...started 19 matches for the Wolves at midfield and scored one goal off 26 shots.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of Castle High School in Kane‘ohe, O‘ahu…lettered four years in soccer…scored 10 goals and led the Knights to an undefeated (9-0-1) regular season for the division title...a two-time all-state selection...a second-team all-state selection and first-team all-league pick her senior year…named the division’s  co-player of the year as a junior…also ran on the track and cross country teams...played club for the Honolulu Bulls Soccer Club.
 
Personal: Born Feb. 5, 1986, in Kane`ohe, O`ahu...major is speech pathology and audiology...has one brother...parents are Faye and Kevin Watanabe of Kane`ohe, O`ahu.
