Savannah Reier

Former University of Hawai‘i women’s basketball player Savannah Reier joined the football program in 2023 as director of recruiting.
 
Reier spent the 2022-23 season as the director of player development for the women’s basketball program and helped the Rainbow Wahine win the Big West Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament.
 
A native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Reier played two seasons for UH from 2018-20, appearing in 58 career games. She started her basketball career at Shelton State Community College, where she played for two seasons and helped her team finish third place of the NJCAA National Championship each year.
 
Following her playing career, she joined the Nevada women's basketball program as a graduate assistant before returning to Manoa and head coach Laura Beeman’s staff.
 
Reier earned her master's degree from Nevada in 2023 and received her bachelor’s in sociology from UH in 2020.
