Ryan Dubbeldam joined the University of Hawai‘i women’s basketball team as a video coordinator prior to the 2017-18 season, and brings seven years of coaching experience with him.
A recent graduate of Indiana State University, Dubbeldam received a Master’s of Science in Coaching and was the Assistant Coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2015-17. At Rose-Hulman, Dubbeldam developed scouting reports, video breakdowns, practice drills, and assisted with recruiting and in-game tactics. He was also a graduate assistant for physical education classes at his alma mater.
Prior to his stint at Rose-Hulman, Dubbeldam spent five seasons as assistant coach of the Manawatu Jets professional team in New Zealand from 2010-15. He also held various high school and club coaching positions while earning his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise with a concentration in Management and Coaching at Massey University in 2014.
