1999: Saw action in 22 games durin the regular season, started six...a National Fastpitch Coaches' Association All-American Scholar-Athlete...also earned WAC scholar-Athlete honors...a UH Scholar-Athlete...missed the post-season due to a shoulder injury...first collegiate hit came against Cal State Fullerton, on Feb. 13...committed no errors in 10 total chances...stole her first base against loyola Marymount in the season-opener (Feb. 11) ...scored one run in WAC play...missed substantial time due to injuries.

Prep: A 1998 graduate of the Kamehameha Schools on O`ahu...lettered four years in softball and one in track...named Honolulu Advertiser 1998 high school softball co-Field Player-of-the-Year...selected to all-state first-team as a senior and second-team as a junior...a four-time all-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honoree...led Kamehameha to 1998 state softball title..an honor roll student throught high schoool...named to Prinicpal's List, graduating with honors.

Personal: Born July 13, 1980, in Honolulu...enjoys listening to reggae music...biggest athletic thrill was playing in the Little League World Series...favorites include the color blue, Hawaiian food, reggae music legend Bob Marley, Michael Jordan and the movie "Forrest Gump"...aspires to be a pharmacist...has three sisters and a brother...majoring in general arts and sciences...parents are Lenette and Robert Makahilahila of Kailua, O`ahu.
