th nationally in assists per set…tallied season-high 52 assists each against UCLA (Feb. 28), at Stanford (March 15) and at Pepperdine (April 12)…posted 50 or more assists in six matches… posted four double figure dig matches including season-high 12 digs at USC (Feb. 20)…also recorded 11 digs against UC Irvine (March 9) and had 10 each against Long Beach State (Jan. 17), and at Pacific (March 17)…posted four kills in five swings with no errors (.800) against Cal Baptist (Feb. 14)… tallied two service aces at USC (Feb. 20)…career-high five blocks at Stanford (March 15)...named to MPSF all-academic team.
2013 (Junior): Started 24 matches after starting the season as a backup setter…appeared in 106 sets and averaged 9.19 assists, 1.35 digs, and 0.36 blocks per set…also averaged 0.25 kills per set and finished the year with 14 service aces…made first career start against UCLA in the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Invitational and led the team to a dramatic come-from-behind five-set win…career-high 57 assists in a victory over USC (March 10)…also tallied 55 assists against Pacific (March 23) and 54 assists against Pepperdine (Jan. 25)…posted career-high 17 digs and dished out 52 assists in five-set loss to Stanford (Feb. 1)…had two service aces each against Pepperdine (Jan. 27), Stanford (Feb. 2), and USC (March 10)…posted three double figure dig matches.
Prior To UH: Attended University of the Pacific for two years…saw limited action both years…as a sophomore, appeared in 20 sets and recorded four assists and three digs…as a freshman, appeared in 19 matches and 27 sets and posted 40 assists, five digs, and one block…
Prep: A 2010 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…earned four letters in volleyball…member of O‘ahu Interscholastic Association championship teams in 2007, ’09 and ’10…named to
Honolulu Advertiser all-state first team in 2009 and ’10, the
Honolulu Star-Bulletin Fab 15 from 2008-10, and OIA Red East Player of the Year in 2009 and ’10…played for Kuikahi Volleyball Club for seven years.
