U.S. National Team: Participated with the U.S. Pan American Cup team in Colima, Mexico that finished in fifth place...led the United States with 47 kills and was among the tournament’s top 15 best scorers...was fourth among all players with a 0.44 aces per game average...also participated in the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru and helped the team to a sixth place finish...led the team with 16 kills in a tournament-opening loss to Chile.
2019 (Junior): Named to the NCAA Championship all-tournament team…appeared in 29 matches with 28 starts at outside hitter…finished third on the team with a 2.36 kills per set average while hitting .387…also averaged 1.16 digs and 0.62 blocks per set with 25 aces…led the team with a .959 reception percentage…hit .800 in the season-opener against NJIT with 12 kills, no errors, in 15 attempts…career-highs of 18 kills and 12 digs against Long Beach State (April 20) in the Big West Tournament championship match…seven matches with double-figure kills…hit .500 or better in 11 matches including .875 (8-0-9) against St. Francis (Feb. 8)…seven matches with multiple aces with career-high three versus King (March 7)…had 15 kills, hitting .481 against Lewis (May 2) in the NCAA Tournament semifinals.....named academic all-Big West.
2018 (Sophomore): Appeared in 23 matches, primarily as backup outside hitter…made one start at outside hitter…finished the season with 22 kills, eight service aces, and 12 digs…in only start, recorded career-highs of 11 kills, hitting .529, four digs, and two blocks against Lincoln Memorial (Jan. 14) in the Grow the Game Challenge…came off the bench and tallied five kills, two aces, and three digs against UCLA (Jan. 28)...named academic all-Big West...competed with teammate Brett Rosenmeier in the 2018 World University Beach Championship in Munich, Germany...placed 13th among 32 teams and finished the tourney with an upset win over the No. 2-seeded team...the duo also competed in the USAV Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship in Hermosa Beach, Calif., and finished runner-up.
2017: Redshirted...following the men's volleyball season, competed with teammate Brett Rosenmeier in the USAV Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship in Hermosa Beach, Calif., and finished fourth.
2016 (Freshman): Appeared in nine matches as a serving specialist…recorded one service ace versus BYU (March 4).
Prep: A 2015 graduate of King Kekaulike High School in Pukalani, Maui…a three-year letterman in volleyball and one-year at Mira Costa High School…named Maui Interscholastic League Player of the Year award in 2014 and ’15…helped team to league titles and state fourth place finishes both years…
Honolulu Star-Advertiser Fab 15 all-state selection in 2015…named to HHSAA all-tournament team in 2015…honorable mention all-state in 2014…three-year team captain…graduated cum laude…member of the honor roll…received school’s scholar-athlete recognition…played one year each for Ku‘ikahi Volleyball Club (2013-14) and Hawai‘i Elite Southside (2014-15), the latter of which placed second at the Anaheim SCVA Qualifier in the 18s open division.
